took the over 40`s against Matts Olsson of CEYMS and David Henderson
made it a Park Lane double in the over 50`s as he made a brave comeback
from 2 sets down to overcome Frank Hayward.A great day for League
newcomer Shan Underhill of the Wensum Club as he took the Handicap title
in an exciting tie which went the full distance against Chris Durrant of Gothic.
Nationally ranked Lauren Spink powered to victory in the Ladies Singles
against Wendy Durrant and teamed up with Mark Dare to take the Open
Doubles over the scratch pairing of Frank Hayward and Andrew Hawes who
had done well to reach that stage.
As expected in the Junior event it was the Gigli brothers who took centre
stage with Adam an emphatic singles winner over Dan and together as they
took the doubles title against the Long Stratton pairing of Adam Myhill and
Ashley Crowe.League newcomer Crowe could feel well pleased with his
day as he also took the Handicap Singles title with a strong showing over
Keiran Brady of Newton Flotman Eagles.
